Artist Bio

UT Austin sophomore, Madison Cooper has been practicing and perfecting her photography skills for several years. Currently, a studio art major, Madison is continuously strengthening her craft within photography, as well as experimenting with other mediums such as printmaking and sculpture. With a guiding hand from her father and a couple of willing friends, Madison has tested the boundaries and the full potential of portrait photography. Additionally, her interest in advocacy art and racial equality for African Americans is present in most of her pieces allowing for a passionate blend between her identity and her art. Through her craft, Madison aims to tell a story through different mediums while also presenting her audience with a new contemporary perspective.
